The gameplay of Merge Pals is designed to be accessible, yet strategic, allowing players to progress at their own pace while rewarding careful decision-making. One of the standout features is the game’s IDLE mode, where players’ resources continue to accumulate even when they're not actively playing. This ensures that progress is steady and rewarding without requiring constant attention.

• Merging Pets: The primary gameplay loop revolves around merging identical pets. Players start with basic pets and can merge them to create higher-level versions. As pets level up, their ability to generate GOLD improves, leading to faster progress.

• GOLD Generation: Pets automatically generate GOLD over time. By merging pets and leveling them up, players can increase the rate of GOLD generation. The GOLD earned can be used for various in-game enhancements, such as upgrading pets, unlocking special features, or purchasing decorative items for Houses.

• IDLE Mode: Even when players are not actively playing, the game’s IDLE mode ensures that their pets continue to generate resources, maintaining a sense of ongoing progression. This feature is ideal for players who cannot dedicate continuous time to the game but still want to see rewards accumulate.

• Challenges and Progression: As players progress, the game introduces new challenges and tasks that require more strategic thinking. Players must decide which pets to merge, when to upgrade their houses, and how best to use their resources to maximize their rewards.
